A.L.M.E.E.

ALMEE has dedicated its activities for more than 15 years to Energy Saving and Environment issues in order to achieving a Sustainable and Harmonious Development in Lebanon and in the Mediterranean region. ALMEE is particularly interested to the global environment issues (Kyoto and Montreal protocols). ALMEE worked on developing proposed mechanisms for green house gases emissions in several projects.

Green hand is an environmental, social, cultural, nongovernmental organization. Funded in 2001 and registered in 2003. Our slogan is "A Green Hand for all Lebanon".

Ibsar

Ibsar, Nature Conservation Center for Sustainable Futures, is an interfaculty center at AUB created in 2002 to promote nature conservation. The uniqueness of IBSAR is its strategic approach to nature conservation which is primarily based on defining and initiating nature-based economic opportunities that are competitive and sustainable.

Lebanese Solar Energy Society

LSES was established in 22nd of April 1980 in Beirut on the initiative of highly educated engineers and was comprised of solar energy company owners, chairmen of university engineering departments and electrical, mechanical, chemical engineers. LSES currently has around 30 members with a main target to promote the use of solar & renewable energy with consideration for the protection of the environment, energy saving, and the quality of life.
