La Direction Generale des Antiquites

La Direction Générale des Antiquités est une administration publique qui dépend du ministère de la Culture depuis 1993.C’est durant le mandat français, que le service des Antiquités est créé et provisoirement rattaché au Ministère de l’Instruction Publique; ce service deviendra la Direction des Antiquités dépendant du ministère de l’Education nationale (décrets n° 26 en date du 18/1/1955 et n° 2869 en date du 16/12/1959).En 1966, la Direction Générale des Antiquités est créée (loi n° 21/66 en date du 29/3/1966) au sein du ministère du Tourisme (n°5743 en date du 22/10/1966) jusqu’en 1993, date de création du Ministère de la Culture auquel est rattachée la DGA dont le travail est régi par la loi sur les Antiquités (n° 166 LR date du 7/11/1933) sans modification fondamentale depuis lors.

Lebanese Artist Association

The Lebanese Artists Association was first founded in 1957 under the name of: AHL AL RASM WAL NAHT. In 1958, the aim was to gather artists in an advocacy group in order to sponsor fine arts through specific institutions such as: Galleries, Academy of fine arts, an office in the Ministry of Education for the promotion of fine arts, Participation in the world exhibitions and biennials, and the preparation of a Lebanese biennial.

Libnor

LIBNOR is a public institution attached to the Ministry of Industry. It was established by a law dated 23/7/1962 as the sole authority to issue, publish and amend Lebanese standards and to give the right to use the Lebanese Conformity Mark (NL Mark). National standards cover all products falling within the agro-food, chemical, construction, mechanical, electro-technical and electromechanical sectors.

The Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation

The Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC) is a national organization affiliated to the Lebanese Ministry of Energy and Water. LCEC addresses end-use energy conservation and renewable energy at the national level. It supports the Government of Lebanon to develop and implement national strategies that promote the development of efficient and rational uses of energy and the use of renewable energy at the consumer level.
