This is the eighth in a series of images documenting the aftermath, understood as exposures of Lebanese settings in the wake of the event, be it social, cultural or built. Aftermath is an alternative look at the after-party, expanding our range of focus to find interest in the peripheral.

Conservationists have lost the battle to preserve the former home of one of Lebanon’s most known authors in which Amin Maalouf's family lived since the 1950’s.
Habib Battah has been following the story of the building closely and posting about it on The Beirut Report. Here’s a look at what has been lost.
